Funny -- people ignore you or claim you are a conspiracy theorist when
you say these alleged "national security" spying tools will be used to
track domestic citizens with differing political views (leftists,
environmentalists, copyright infringers, opposition party members,
pro-choice/life, etc ...).
Canadians tend to be more politically passive, so doubt we'll have a
home-grown hero like the USA's Edward Snowden to confirm if this
laundering is happening in Canada. I would be very surprised if it
isn't happening, but I have no clear evidence one way or the other.
