Ok! I have to stop this! I am getting data and information sharing
addicted!  Also, too listy i think, you decide!

I put some stuff up and would like - if y'all willin' - to invite the
following folks as part of the early builders -

Nathalie Leclerc, social researcher Social Planning Council of Ottawa,
she is a social researchin' geek, ruthless info digger and proponent of
these ideas.

Ted Hildebrandt, Director of Social Planning and Community Development
in Halton, he & I founded the GANIS group (see wiki), and recently he
spoke at a PPGIS  conference in the US and the US participants were
stunned and said "you get free healthcare but have to pay for data
upthere - crazy!".  Ted also bridges the world of geekdom and social policy.

Joel Rivard, Data Technician at Carleton University Library, he is a
recent gis student who got this job after graduation, he is very
knowledgeable about national issues.

After these folks join and we all get used to working together, I would
like to invite still internal -

Doug May and Alton Hollet from Gov. of Newfoundland who are doing some
great civic indicator work and who could connect us to the scene on the
rock.

Ernie Boyko, a retired statcan director, and Wendy Watkins MADGIC (see
wiki) who are members of a bunch of data and info associations and are
founding members of the Data Liberation Initiative

and after y'all get your respective folks doing their thing, I would
love to post on a bunch of other specialized listserves.
