I just wrote a letter to the editor suggesting in addition to Chief Statistician reporting that data access reporting would be great, i discussed public access to public data, cost recovery and that people on
civicaccess.ca were wanting access to the postal code file so that they may enhance the political participation process but that the file was under a restrictive license and way to expensive. This I said was thwarting community innovation on a fundamental issue - the elections.
