Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange SDMX[1] standard[2]

sharing of data and metadata within the current scope of our
collective activities." [3]
Does anyone know if StatsCan or the Bank of Canada is looking at using
SDMX anytime soon?
There are a number of national statistics organizations that have
implementations, including Australia, Mexico, U.S, etc.[4] as well as
UN, IMF, EuroStat, etc.
