Re: [eo-announce] Earth Observatory: What's New Week of 06 March 2012

Tracey P. Lauriault
I just love getting these every week, they make get all fuzzy for satellites!  Just like I love getting my near daily statcan product release announcements, or my weekly LIFE pictures of the week (i know cheezy ay!), and the Faculty and of Arts and Social Science tuesday list of up and coming public lectures and I wonder, if something like these might not get us all fired up about the data that come into portals, like the UBC one.

Like here is this weeks cool app!
Hey here is some new data
So and so did this with these what can you do (Like the UK Guardian)?
Have you tried this new visualization tool?
Our coastal expert will be talking at...
Forest for the Trees environmental group just produced this report from these BC datasets combined with...?
Here are some news maps we just produced about education?

What's not to love.
