Sam,

The PIPEDA Act is a national legislative framework that allows a person to
access to their personal information, health care or otherwise, across public or
commercial sectors.

Hi,
I'm just wondering which group (if their is onw) who is active in the
push for wanting to change the provincial (all provinces) government
system so then the patient gets access to their own healthcare
records. And it becomes manditory that all heathcare professions
submit their heath records, as they get created to the provincial
healthcare online system.

And make it legislated that the patient can grant temporary access to
their medical file for the healthcare professional to assist in
helping solve the problem.

Who is already pushing for this to happen?

Thanks,
Sam
