A big congratulations on your new research posting.  Sorry for delayed response - I'm having intermittent connections in Europe.

You're one of the most knowledgeable people I know in this area and sorry that Canada couldn't offer you an appropriate research environment. I know you'll continue to contribute to the common good no matter where you are and I look forward to hopefully meeting up before you leave.
