that's a great idea!  I worked on setting one up over a year ago with
Catherine Roy and a couple other people, but after 3-4 meetings we
finally decided to postpone it.  Now with the elections and a much
more active list/community I think we could do something.  It's pretty
impressive how many people are working on actual projects right now
(you, me, Cory, Daniel H, and of course all of Jen's work).

I'm available to help if we want to do one before the elections.

I'm currently helping Daniel H on getting Postal Code to EDIDs. I don't
have a lot of time and I mostly spend it adapting and running Ruby
scripts he wrote, but I've been thinking of a "camp" too. I'm interested
in helping any existing project.
