I'm lurking on the list. I consult on electronic outreach strategy, design
and implementation for several NGOs, and for a national political party and
in several provinces with voters lists, and have been interested in seeing
more government data become freely available. I do some environmental
software development as well, and would be interested in seeing more
geographic information be made available for free. I've also help with
things like a Government of Canada cultural portal, and developing an
Aboriginal Information Technology Strategy for Ontario.
My wife, Lisa Austin, is an information law professor at the University of
