http://pkp.sfu.ca/node/6225> dated March 26, 2013 on its website, Public Knowledge Project announced the first full version release (1.0) of its Open Monograph Press (OMP)<
http://pkp.sfu.ca/omp> open source platform software.
OMP is an open source software platform for managing the editorial workflow required to see monographs, edited volumes, and scholarly editions through internal and external review, editing, cataloguing, production, and publication. OMP will operate, as well, as a press website with catalog, distribution, and sales capacities.
OMP is the latest development at PKP, which aims to do for electronic online monograph publishing what its incredibly successful Open Journal Systems (OJS)<
