We've got two great Snook sessions proposed:
- Tanya Snook (@spydergrrl) will be presenting on the limited
accessibility of social media platforms and how to format or structure
content to be accessible within 3rd party apps.
- Jonathan Snook's presenting on how they built Yahoo! Mail -
"taking an inclusive design approach here that [...] is
unparalleled." This session will look at ARIA, keyboard navigation,
and how we managed to blend web and desktop concepts into a cohesive
approach that is being applied across the suite of Yahoo! products.
Laurie Alphonse is also proposing a session about inclusion, a discussion
of the access beyond technical and physical environment.
Rob Harvie and Charles Silverman of Inclusive Media and Design will be
hosting a session on DIY Web Video Captioning. Exploring reasons,
techniques and free tools to create your own captioning of Web video.
