Open Water Data Continued

Tracey P. Lauriault
In October datalibre.ca guest Bloggler Alex Joseph wrote about liberating water data at the WEHUB (Water and Environmental Hub) http://datalibre.ca/2011/10/26/liberating-water-data-guest-post-by-alex-joseph-wehub/

Alex just sent me a WEHUB update and I thought some of you might be interested in it.

The WEHUB Flowchart app is now available "free" for Apple and Android devices.

This app takes near real time water data from the AB Environment website and makes it available in a graphic format on the smartphone or similar device. Data is available in near real-time from observation stations across Alberta and includes: river flows and levels, lake and reservoir levels, snow data, climate and meteorological data, and water quality data.

Some of you might also be interested in another guest blog post from Cybera on OpenData and Business http://datalibre.ca/2011/12/29/guest-post-building-a-business-on-open-data/
