Open Gov West

Karen Fung
Hi there,

This is very short notice, but for those of us interested in open government and open data, the Open Gov West conference will be taking place in May. There is a call for speakers that closes today. I am one of the conveners and am told we are especially interested in getting a good selection of speakers from the gender spectrum.

There are also opportunities to apply for scholarships to attend and we have also arranged airfare and travel discounts with Air Canada and Amtrak.

Please see the e-mail below or the conference website at http://opengovwest.org/open-gov-west-2011 for more information, or feel free to ask me if you have any other questions.

Best,

Karen Fung
