Those with an interest in Open Government Data in the context of the Global
South and particularly with a research focus might be interested in the
various contributions on this Open Data Research blog. Specifically there
are some early thoughts on a major research initiative in this area to be
undertaken by the IDRC including the "Fostering a Critical Development
Perspective on Open Government Data - Brasilia Workshop Report" which is
providing background to this project.
