  Funny.   I read it, saw the references to algorithms, and saw this as
yet another "code is law" article rather than about data.

  It is the question of who authors those policies/algorithms that we
need to be more concerned about, with the inputs/outputs of these
algorithms just being part of the discussion of the algorithm and not
something that should be separated out.
