Montreal - IATI conference and Open Dev and contract spending

Michael Lenczner-2
I've been attending the conference(s) with Gabe from Toronto, James and Stephane from Open North, Brun from Brun Inc. WorldWide, Heather Leson from OKFN (also Toronto), Richard Peidro from Citizen Bridge, Renée from Geothink and probably a couple others that I'm forgetting.

It's been a fantastic set of conferences so far. Pretty decent hacking and more importantly, lots of conversations with international folks and big names in open data (OKFN, World Bank, etc.).

DFATD are the hosts and they did a great job, but congratulations and thanks to Michael Roberts for instigating this week and for making sure it benefited the Canadian community the way that it did.

Cheers!
