Joe Oliver wants miners to disclose foreign payments (CBC)

Ecojustice & Mining Watch Canada had to Take Envionment Canada for the release of mine pollution data.  Canada's resource extract economy is often obstinate when it comes to transparency.  EnvCan's in this instance was protecting companies who did not want these data disclosed.  What we do not know, is if this affected reporting.
