Jobs, abolition of cost recovery and open data

Tracey P. Lauriault
As big institutions go from the most regressive cost recovery policies to open data means big changes within.  Fear of job losses and reshuffling are push backs within institutions and unions.  It will also be interesting to know which jobs a which levels are at risk?  The entire client services section?  Survey engineers? The marketing section? Reduced accounting section? Royalty managers? Data licensing police?  etc.

Let hope the data get used and generate income & innovation as hoped.
