"What is National Data Sharing and Accessibility Policy (NDSAP)?
The National Data Sharing and Accessibility Policy (NDSAP) is the
policy which facilitates the access to Government of India owned
shareable data and information in both human readable and machine
readable forms through Data Portal India in a proactive and
periodically updatable manner, within the framework of various related
policies, Acts and rules of Government of India, thereby, permitting
wider accessibility and use of public data and information.
NDSAP will apply to all the data and information generated, collected
and archieved using the public funds provided by Government of India
directly, with the help of various Ministries/
Departments/Organisations/ Agencies and Autonomous bodies."
