Greenhouse Gas Emissions Hexagonal Heatmap

Simon Mercier
Hi all,

I'm not very active on this list, but I take a look occasionally. Following the opening of the new website "Open Government" in Canada (www.data.gc.ca), and the call for public consultation, I decided to build a simple interactive map with public data on Greenhouse Gas emissions of Canada. My goals was to show a benefit of handling of public data.  Also, I try to take advantage of some awesome new open sources technologies and explore new way to visualize data.

You can see the results of this interactive map on my blog (http://simonmercier.net/blog/?p=838)

Thank you
