I will forward this query on Open Data Day 2014 (which some will have gotten, I am sure). Has a day been set in stone yet?
The 23rd is a Sunday, so I would guess the 22nd (the Saturday)?

Edmonton Public Library is interested in hosting an open data day event in Edmonton next year, but I can’t seem to find information about when that will be. Is it February 23^rd every year?

 

We are really excited about helping to grow this movement in Edmonton.

Surprised to see this here as I responded to your request in the Open Data Day list and privately. Am a little worried - are you getting my emails? Worried I may be getting caught in your spam filter.

Either way, great opportunity to reaffirm the date with this list!

As I mentioned on the Open Data Day list in my second response to Alexandra (and thanks to a timely reminder from Richard Akerman) the date for Open Data Day in 2014 has been set, it will be on February 22nd. You can see the thread on the decision back in April here.

A number of European stakeholders have already started to make plans with that date in mind.
