Very slick parliamentary monitoring website in Tunisia. Includes Q&A feature. (You can switch to French instead of using Google Translate for Arabic.)

Hi all,
just a quick mail to present
the new version of www.marsad.tn , the
monitor of the constituent assembly of Tunisia. The website is completely hand
made by Nabil (our developer) and Kais (our designer).
In the other hand, we are
campaigning against ministers who are at the same time mixing a legislative and
executive job (Minister and MP) and we just had 3 days ago our minister of
foreign affairs resigning from his seat in parliament, a big win for us.
There are too reasons for this
campaign, first one the separation between powers and the second is ministers
who are cumulating the two jobs are always absent, the percentage of attendance
in parliament of this minister for example was 0%. We still have 3 others
ministers left that we are pushing to resign, one of them is the so called “minister
of good governance”.
I know there are other countries
such as Germany and Italy where ministers are cumulating too mandates, but as
we suffered a lot under the dictatorship because of this mix. We can’t compare ourselves
to these countries.
I am looking forward for your
comments on the website.
Amira
