Session went well yesterday. Summary response from Toby was on foi and need to improve foi legislation. My main response (within the 3 minutes I had), focused on increased civic engagement process and need to consider better access portals and data sharing (we may be approached to provide greater detail and participation but this I think is relevant and appropriate next steps). Clement seemed to be receptive but then again our session with the yanks was extremely civil but I think productive.
Fyi I just heard this am that duff connacher at democracy watch and the coalitions he represents has publicly voiced boycott of the plan.
