It is now formally announced that the United Kingdom will assume co-chair with Brazil of the OGP, taking over the baton from the United States. There will be OGP Steering Committee meetings anticipated at end of 2012, with 2013 Plenary in March in London UK. I am staying behind tonight to offer some final thoughts on behalf of CCSD and our civil society reps in terms of next steps input to incoming UK delegates. There will likely be more refined next steps including, for example, third party review of action plan commitments and targets. As for our government's plans, we will send more refined commentary now that we have the full plan.
