Keynote: Dr. Ann Cavoukian, Information and Privacy Commissioner for Ontario
Dr. Cavoukian is perhaps best known for her mantra of "Privacy by Design," but another key mantra is "Access by Design." The idea is to work access to information and Open Government into how we approach renewing our public institution's information and policy infrastructure. The concept was asserted in 2010 when Dr. Cavoukian along with her fellow information and privacy commissioners put forward the Open Government Resolution in Whitehorse, Yukon.
We are working hard to get the best speakers from Ontario and all across Canada to make this a stand out conference on open data.
