Hi David,

You may be aware of AAAI which is the premier AI conference. Its latest episode is going to be in Toronto, Canada, this summer.

We are organizing a workshop at AAAI-12 called Semantic Cities. The idea of the workshop is to expose the AI community to open data and how semantics can provide a foundation to facilitate high-value analytics.  See: http://research.ihost.com/semanticcities12/index.html

I will appreciate any help or suggestions you could give in promoting this to the open data community (in and outside AI) in Canada. If you will like to participate in any capacity, do let me know.
