Subject: A11yYOW Participation Builds

[hidden email]openconcept has sent you a group e-mail from
a11yyow.ca.
I'm happy to announce that we now have over 100 participants
registered for the Unconference next Friday. We have representation from
almost 20 Government of Canada departments so I know that there will be
keen interest in the new Standard on Web Usability:
http://a11yyow.ca/en/drupal-7-web-experience-toolkit-wetIn looking at the registered participants, it seems that there's
going to be some interest in the AODA among participants, but not as much
as I had expected. The AODA's a big deal, for those of us who live in
Ontario, so if you know anyone who has been involved, please let them know
about this event.
We are continuing to accept new sessions, so if you have an idea for one
that isn't included, please add it here:

Thanks to testing by John Whelan, we've fixed the problem with the
discussion forums that was blocking everyone from participating. We'd
really like to use this website as a place to help facilitate discussions
before & after the event:
http://a11yyow.ca/en/forumIf anyone discovers any other barriers to the website, please let us know.
This site has not been extensively tested for accessibility, although
we've done a great deal to improve the accessibility in the base code.
Please report problems here:

Oh yes, you'll notice that we have a brand new look for the site.
I'd like to thank Vicky Lam who volunteered to create this great
looking design. You can download & print off the PDF for the event
