this UN paper is a very good brief. The content reflects the same issues we have here in Canada. It is a very geo centric paper, and I like how 'place based' is becoming the discourse on integrating data produced by agencies that both work for the nation - statistics and mapping - but do so in different ways and rarely together! It is a quick read.
