Federal departments detailed potential census impact a year ago

Months before churches, charities, provinces and municipalities began complaining they'd be hurt by the disappearance of the long-form census, federal departments were already spelling out their own worries.

The negative impacts they described touched a range of subjects from Employment Insurance to transfer payments to the provinces, according to documents obtained by The Canadian Press.
