Open Access Colloquium - University of Guelph - Friday October 25th
Registration is now open for the University of Guelph’s first Open Access Colloquium, a one day event featuring some of the most prominent Open Access and intellectual property experts in Canada.
Registration is free but space is limited, register today by visiting www.openaccessguelph.ca.
Speakers include:
Leslie Chan, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough Chad Gaffield, SSHRC President Dr. Michael Geist, lawyer and the Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce Law at the University of Ottawa
In addition, a lightning talk session will take place where University of Guelph Open Access authors will highlight such topics as open access, open data, open education, open science, open culture, open media and many more.
Over 400 campus Open Access authors will also be celebrated during the event which will take place on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Arboretum. Faculty, researchers, grad students, veterinarians, librarians and professionals interested in Open Access are invited to attend.
