  "Conceding" is part of a legal settlement -- it doesn't mean Google
executives or employees actually agree such collection of data violates
privacy.   I know I don't, even if it makes many people uncomfortable.

  I believe we live in yet another interesting time when the lines
between public and private are being redrawn.  As we moved into more
anonymous urban settings people grew a different sense of "private" than
when they lived in more closer communities, and the same type of
re-drawing is happening as we as a species reconnect.
