Dear Tracey P.,
First, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to our year-end fundraising campaign. The work we do to stand up for science simply couldn’t happen without you.
I also wanted to let you know about some upcoming changes at E4D.
I’m excited to announce that I’m expecting my first child, and will be taking parental leave from E4D in May.
Evidence for Democracy will continue as usual and I am confident that the organization is in good hands with our new Board Chair, Wendy Palen, and the addition of three new members to our Board of Directors, all of whom bring an impressive array of skills and experience.
We are currently hiring an interim Executive Director. If you’re passionate about bringing science to public policy to improve government decisions and accountability, this just might be the job for you! Please read the full job posting and share it with anyone you think might be a good fit.
Also the E4D board is currently undergoing a strategic planning exercise to decide our top priorities for the coming year and beyond. As a valued member of the E4D community, we want you to inform and shape our work! We’ve created a brief survey to get your feedback. Please take a few minutes to fill it out by January 31st.
