I'm planning on going to the conference on May 29th... http://demtech.ca/

- is there a hotel where others will be staying?
- any plans for a civicaccess meetup of some sort?

Not sure about the hotel - Ilona or Olivier might have some info on
that.  But we were definitely planning an hack-day on saturday for
folks.  We've been focusing our energies on the main day so far, so we
haven't even picked a location for the second, more informal day.

But I can guarantee that there will be something planned for the 30th.

Oops - I should have made it clear that it wouldn't be a day just for
technical hacking.  Whatever we plan would be an open space for
discussion and work on tech, policy and mobilizing as well.

we are working on hotels (IE getting a group rate) for the  
conference, and will have info about all of that up on the DemTech  
site on May 1st.
