Canada 2020 is a dynamic and networked “ideas generation
council” that takes a unique approach to addressing Canada’s public
policy opportunities and challenges.
It draws upon the public policy knowledge of a broad range of leading
and innovative thinkers across the country and around the world. We
create cutting-edge, yet practical policy solutions designed to address
the major opportunities and challenges Canada faces. Our products are
packaged in a user friendly, concise and non-technical format.
In addition to developing new ideas, our mandate includes communicating
these ideas to media, interest groups and interested Canadians, in an
effort to influence public policy debate and ultimately shape
government decision making over the next 15 years.
Jeff Brownlee from the CME, who sent me the "buck stops here" pointed
me to this group out. I think there is merit in having some industry
participation in civicaccess.ca, as i think are issues are
multi-sectoral in nature. What do you all think?
