Dunno if you are following the issue at all, but we're running out of
IPv4 addresses and IPv6 has been defined for 13 years now...

I've now got my network IPv6 enabled.

Do you know IT folks at the city of Ottawa and whether or not they are
IPv6 prepared?  If not, they (and you?) might want to consider attending
ipv6summit.ca

I'm going, and recommend it for others as well.  There will be
business and technical track.  My manager at current job will be going
to business track, so I'll be able to compare notes.

  Not so much civic-access, but hope that some of the business track
will talk about the business and public policy motivations that some
have for delaying (Hint: Network Address Translation makes one more of
a "consumer" rather than participant on Internet).
